Getting started
Do I need prior knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or statistics?
No. The course starts from the basics and explains every tool step by step. Basic comfort with numbers and Excel is enough.
What is the Launchpad?
A free 60-minute online session for up to 10 people. You get to know the course, learn what makes a good Green Belt project, and discuss project ideas in the group. It's the easiest way to find out if the course is right for you, before you enroll.
Do I need my own project?
Yes, and that's the point. Your project is the vehicle for everything you learn. Before you enroll, you can explore project ideas in a free Launchpad session. In week 2, you shape your project with your coach in a 1:1 Project Kick-off.
What if I don't have a suitable project yet?
Join a Launchpad session anyway. In the group, we look at what makes a good project, and most participants spot suitable candidates in their own work.
Do I need a project idea before the Launchpad?
No. Bring an idea if you have one. If not, the Launchpad will help you find good candidates in your own work.
Can HR or my manager join the Launchpad?
Yes. Decision-makers are welcome to join and see how the course works.
When does the next cohort start?

Time and pace
How much time should I plan?
The course comprises around 80 hours of practice-based learning, including your project work. Spread over three to six months, that's roughly 3 to 6 hours per week, and much of it is time you'd spend on the improvement work anyway.
How long does the course take?
Most projects take between three and six months, but there is no fixed deadline. Real projects depend on data, people and decisions in your organization, and sometimes that takes longer.
What if I finish earlier?
No problem, that's fully supported. You book your 1:1 tollgate sessions whenever you're ready, so you can move through the phases at your own speed. The 26-week plan only sets the dates for the Study Halls. If you're ahead of the group, simply bring the questions you would have asked in a Study Hall to your next 1:1 session.
What if my project stalls or gets stopped?
It happens, even to experienced Belts: priorities shift, a sponsor changes or a tollgate isn't approved internally. That's not a failure. Together with your coach, you decide whether to pause, adjust the scope or continue with a different project.
How long do I have access?
You have 12 months of access to the course and to all SKILLAGILITY toolkits, including every update. If your project takes longer, we simply extend your access free of charge. That's only fair.
Support
What happens if I get stuck?
You're never on your own: ad-hoc chat support with video and screen sharing, 5 live Study Halls, a 1:1 Project Kick-off, 6 personal tollgate sessions and a community of fellow learners.
Do I have to attend the Study Halls?
No, they're optional, but highly recommended. Each Study Hall runs three times on the same day, in German and in English, so you can pick the session that fits your time zone. All Study Halls are recorded, so you can watch them later if you can't join live.
What happens in the Project Kick-off?
In week 2, you meet your coach for a 60-minute 1:1 session. Based on your project brief from week 1, you agree on scope, goal and key figures. If you have a sponsor, they join you for the final part or the whole session.
Does my manager need to be involved?
It helps, but it's optional. Got a sponsor? They join your Project Kick-off and your Final Tollgate to keep everyone aligned. Learning on your own works just as well.
What language is the course in?
Everything is available in English and German: course materials, videos, toolkits, Study Halls and coaching.
What do I need technically?
A computer with an internet connection and Excel or a comparable spreadsheet tool. A headset and webcam are helpful for coaching sessions. No additional statistics software is required.
Certificate and next steps
What certificate do I receive?
After completing your project and presenting it at the Final Tollgate, you receive the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certificate by SKILLAGILITY. It confirms not only what you know, but that you delivered a real project.
Is the course aligned with international standards?
Yes. The curriculum follows the ASQ Six Sigma Body of Knowledge. If you'd like an additional external certification, you can take the ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt exam. Registration and fees are handled directly by ASQ.
Can I continue toward Black Belt level?
Yes. This course is part of the SKILLAGILITY learning landscape. Depending on your project's scope, combine it with Value Stream Mapping (B301), Lean Management (B302) and Modern Project Management (T206) to reach Lean Six Sigma Black Belt level.
Price and booking
What does it cost?
As a founding cohort participant, you pay €1,250 instead of the regular price of €2,490, plus VAT where applicable. Coaching, Study Halls, chat support, toolkits and your certificate are all included, with no hidden add-ons. The founding cohort price is available for our first cohorts only.
Is VAT charged?
All prices are net. VAT is added at checkout where required, for example for customers in Germany. For customers outside Germany, VAT may not apply.
Can my employer pay for the course?
Yes. We issue an invoice to your company. And with a real project result, your employer sees a measurable return on their investment.
Do you offer options for teams?
Yes. If you'd like to train several employees, contact us for a tailored offer.
Can I cancel my booking?
We recommend joining a free Launchpad group session before you book. You'll get to know the course, see what makes a good project and discuss your own idea. After booking, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase. Tip: if you book shortly before your start date, this period also covers your first week in the course and your Project Kick-off.
