Your new standardThe finalized way of working after rollout — documented, trained, and physically reinforced, so the improvement becomes routine. Click term for full definition is only as reliable as the equipment behind it. OEE shows where you lose capacity, TPM shows how to get it back, and keep it. Watch the short video, then work with the toolkit PDF: it explains the method, shows a worked example and gives you a blank template to fill in.

OEE & TPM in short
- Collect the shift data. Planned time, planned and unplanned downtime, ideal cycle time, total and good output.
- Calculate Availability. Operating time ÷ planned production time.
- Calculate Performance. Actual output ÷ ideal output in the operating time.
- Calculate Quality. Good output ÷ total output. Then multiply A × P × Q.
- Attack the biggest loss. Use TPM: daily care, planned service, quality settings. Track OEE on a Control Chart.
Key points
- OEE = A × P × Q.
- The lowest factor shows the biggest loss.
- TPM: from “I break, you fix” to “we care”.
- Track OEE on a Control Chart.
